About the University

Far Eastern State Agrarian University is one of the oldest agricultural universities in the Russian Far East. Located in Blagoveschensk city, the capital of the Amur Region.
Far Eastern State Agrarian University is a modern multidisciplinary agricultural university. It has 6 faculties, 1 college, 7 base centers. The campus consists of 22 educational and scientific buildings, 6 dormitories, a sports and fitness center, a veterinary clinic, and an experimental site. 6000 students are studying to get bachelors, masters and post graduate degrees.
The main scientific areas at the university are aimed at developing the agro-industrial complex through scientific research and publication of the latest achievements in the fields of agronomy, agriculture, plant growing and breeding, ecology, soil science, agricultural chemistry, forestry, landscape architecture, animal science, veterinary medicine, agricultural processing technologies, machinery and equipment for the agro-industrial complex, food technology, geodesy, land management, automation of technological processes, electric power and electrical engineering, economics of the agro-industrial complex, and management.
