Altai State University

Altai State University (ASU) is located in Barnaul, the capital of Altai Krai, Russia. The Altai region is the geographical center of Eurasia, the cradle of ancient cultures and civilizations, one of the most beautiful places on the planet. ASU is in top 1,000 universities of QS World University Rankings and participates in the Russian National Academic Leadership Program “Priority 2030”. ASU serves more than 20,000 students from 50 countries and is recognized for its emphasis on interdisciplinary research and international collaboration. Its main research strengths include archaeology, regional studies, ecology and environmental science, biotechnology, astrophysics, IT and the arts.
