Founded in 1964, the only comprehensive women's university, contributes to educating perspicacious and sage women who are able to play efficient roles in family and society.
Alzahra University has 11 faculties, 2 research centers and 1 campus, offering bachelor, master, PhD and postdoc programs in over 181 fields of study. It is proud of educating over 10524 students and 47575 graduates.
Alzahra University provides different facilities, including: labs, libraries, dormitories, a clinic, student counseling services, a mosque, sports clubs, restaurants, a bank and a post office.
Located in the North-West of Tehran, Alzahra University is a green university fostering sustainable development and has reached high rankings of UI Green Metric for successive years.
