Arish University

Arish University is a public institution located in the city of El Arish, North Sinai, Egypt, established in April 2016.
It serves a regional campus, and while the main campus is in El Arish, the university is developing further facilities and research centres to cater to the Sinai region.
With approximately 12,000 undergraduates and around 3,000 postgraduate students (total ~15,000), and an estimated staff complement in the few-thousands (publicly listed as 1,000-5,000 employees).
Key research and priority areas emphasise physiology and biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, desert & arid-land agriculture, aquaculture & marine fisheries, environmental & sustainable development, soil and water-management and land reclamation, and digital/IT solutions for regional development, physics, chemistry, mathematics and geology.
