About the University
Founded in 1988, the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) is the UAE’s largest applied higher education institution and the nation’s first approved university economic free zone, empowering it to graduate companies in alignment with the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership. Renowned as a dynamic hub of technology-driven innovation and excellence in education, HCT has gained an enviable reputation for its agile, innovative, and job-focused practices, fulfilling its mission of igniting Emirati excellence.
Over 25,000 students pursue their studies at state-of-the-art, technology-driven campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Al Dhafra, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
