Jilin University

Jilin University (JLU) is a national key comprehensive university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education in China, located in Changchun, Jilin Province. It was selected into both “211” and “985” National Education Excellence Project and the first batch of “Double World-class” Initiative universities.

The ESI ranking of 19 disciplines (fields) is in the top 1% in the world, of which 5 disciplines, namely, Chemistry, Materials Science, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Engineering, and Clinical Medicine are ranked in the top 1‰ in the world and Chemistry is ranked in the top 1‱ in the world.

JLU is home to more than 75,000 full-time students and 6,300 faculty members. There are 6 campuses in Changchun, and four hospitals are affiliated to JLU.
