Moscow Institute on Physics and Technology (MIPT)

Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology is the leading technical university in Russia which is included in prestigious ratings of the best universities in the world. The main MIPT campus is located in Dolgoprudny, a northern suburb of Moscow. However the Aeromechanics Department is based in Zhukovsky, a suburb south-east of Moscow. International Students: 1185. Countries represented: 80. Throughout it’s existence more than 36 thousand people have graduated from MIPT, many of them have achievements in different fields of science, business and even art. 150 of them became academicians and corresponding members of RAS, and one of them- the President of RAS. 6000 were entitled as doctors of science, 17000 were entitled as candidates of science. In recent years MIPT has opened a lot of new laboratories where reputed scientists work. They deal with problems of aging and age diseases, applied and fundamental physics, nanooptics, quantum calculations, photonics and other.
