Shandong University

Shandong University (SDU), is a key comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education of China. Established in 1901, SDU now has eight campuses, six of which are located in Jinan, Shandong Province, one in Qingdao and one in Weihai. It has around 4,600 full-time faculty members and approximately 67,000 students, including 42,000 undergraduates, 24,000 postgraduates and 1,600 international students . Its strong academic fields include chemistry, engineering, material sciences, clinical medicine, pharmacology and toxicology, environment and ecology, and biology and biochemistry, which are listed in the top 1‰ in the ESI rankings.
