Suez Canal University

Located in the city of Ismailia, Egypt, Suez Canal University (SCU) is a major public ‎institution with a significant academic footprint. Its main structure consists of two ‎campuses within Ismailia. The university serves a large community of approximately ‎‎60,000 students and 3,500 staff members. Reflecting its strategic location, SCU's research ‎is notably strong in areas directly relevant to its region, with key strengths in Canal and ‎Maritime Studies, Desert Agriculture and Arid Land Management, Environmental ‎Sciences, Water Resources Management, and Public Health and Tropical Medicine. ‎It also maintains research centers in South Sinai, including in Sharm El-Sheikh and St. ‎Catherine.‎
