Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) is a leading autonomous public university in Makassar, Indonesia. Established in 1956, it is named after the 17th-century King Sultan Hasanuddin. The university operates from two main campuses in Makassar and Gowa, plus six satellite campuses, including one in the capital city, Jakarta. It is a major academic hub with 18 faculties, 236 study programs, and over 52,000 students, supported by 2,600 lecturers and 420 professors. UNHAS fosters a global outlook with 900 partnerships across 45 countries. Its programs hold national and prestigious international accreditations such as IABEE, FIBAA, ABET, ASIIN. Committed to excellence, UNHAS research focuses include but not limited to Energy, Agriculture includes forestry, marine sciences, health and medicine, environment, and biodiversity.
