About the University
تم إنشاء Kafrelsheikh University in Egypt بموجب المرسوم الرئاسي رقم 129 في 19 أبريل 2006 لدعم التنمية المستدامة، وتحسين الموارد الوطنية، وتوسيع قدرات التعليم العالي لخريجي المدارس الثانوية والفنية. تعود جذورها إلى Higher Agricultural Institute التي تأسست في كفر الشيخ عام 1957 (في البداية تحت the Ministry of Higher Education)، والتي أصبحت the Faculty of Agriculture in عام 1969 تحت Alexandria University and وانضمت لاحقًا إلى Tanta University بعد عام 1973. وشملت التطورات اللاحقة the Faculty of Education (1977)، فرع Tanta University بكفر الشيخ (1983)، the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (1985)، the Faculty of Specific Education (1988، انضم لاحقًا إلى طنطا بالقرار الوزاري رقم 1187)، فرعي الهندسة والتجارة (التاريخ 1920 في النص)، وفرع التربية الرياضية (1997). وقد حول القرار الجمهوري لعام 2006 هذه الفروع إلى كليات جامعية كاملة.
